For the last five plus years I've been working on my own paper mod of Pokemon generation 4(now 5). I loved designing my pokemon game, as well as my own SWBF III and SSBB 3 (now 4), so much that I went into game design for my higher education. Since my first game design with Pokemon Diamond and Emerald (now changed to something else lest Nintendo and Pokemon try to steal it), I've been working on it consistantly through those 5 plus years, redesigning pokemon I've already created,creating new ones, fixing maps, and adding human characters, etc. When I have the time to complete all my designs to the point where I feel they're final (meaning ready for review) I'll post them here all at once. Yesterday was the first day I ever decided to look at other people's fakemon (the term I just learned yesterday as well), and I noticed a couple of things that I already had 5 years ago. One such instance is the Fire Anteater pokemon that was also made by Lydario ([link]) albeit made more recently, as well as the fact that it was a starter. Luckily his design idea for that anteater significantly varied, from colors to basic shape distrobution. I feel like posting these now, mainly so that I can get them out before people start posting ones that look oddly similar to mine, even if they did come up with the idea without help from looking at mine or other's fakemon on the internet. Also I'm posting to lay claim to my designs so that if Pokemon decides to steal yet another idea from me, now I'll have digitally recorded proof. Frikin Nintendo and their stealing of my other two starter concepts, of which they took and gay-ified them. I still love Nintendo, though...despite the fact that the Pokemon Co. and/or Game Freak made so many of the Diamond and Pearl designs so lame.
